A Wing in Flight

Hello dear ones~

It’s been a while, and I’m so happy to wish you a very warm New Year. In this blog post I’ll share a little about what I’ve been up to, what’s been inspiring me, and a few recent website projects. And be sure to read to the end to learn the inspiration behind the title of this email, “A wing in flight…”

This is the view from my creative workspace. As you can see, the hills here in Sonoma County, California are lush and green, and it’s beginning to feel like spring.

After a quiet, inward winter season, things are starting to stir, and I’m excited to share a few recent websites I’ve created. I’m currently booking web design and photography clients for spring, so please reach out if you’d like to connect. I specialize in helping creatives, healers, and magical folks express their unique essence online. Click the images below to explore.

Slowing down and dropping in for 2026

This winter I’ve been reflecting deeply on how and where I direct my time, energy and focus, and I have noticed a deep craving to move slower, and invest in tangible, quiet activities (and less time online).

I picked up crocheting again, and felt quiet delight and satisfaction making a scarf out of alpaca yarn. I’ve also picked up reading again after nearly a decade of reading only a few books a year. I used to read A LOT and I’ve been wanting to turn my brain and attention away from the computer and social media and toward more the sustained and deeper nourishment of good ‘ol paper books!

I’ve revisited some favorites (The Discovery of Witches series by Deborah Harkness and Wild Child and Juniper by Monica Furlong) as well as some new titles. I’ve been keeping a log of books I’m reading, and I’ve read 12 books since November, which feels so darn good!

I’m curious if you’ve noticed your reading habits change because of being online more… And if you are reading something great, let me know in the comments below.

A Wing in Flight

I’ll sign off by sharing a video of Asia Suler’s intuitive reading for 2026~ It resonated deeply for me, and felt like a grounding beacon of hope amidst the tumult of the world right now… She speaks about flight being a dance with pressure, and this framing has helped me embrace some of the intensity I’m navigating in the growth of my business right now. I invite you to listen~ It was just the message I needed!

That’s all for now~ I’m sending you love and blessings for the new year, and I would love to hear from you~ What’s inspiring you these days? Are you exploring any new hobbies? Comment below. :-)

Warmly,
Tenaya
